1. INTRODUCTION

Privacy and security are the core values at Old School Apps Corp, the publisher of the P-Teams app and service. Our mission is to help create online communities for parents where everyone can feel safe. This Privacy Policy describes the type of personal information we collect and how we handle those data.

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information Needed to Use the P-Teams App and Service.

We need to know your school memberships, and the member names you choose to be known as. No personal identifiable information is required to use the P-Teams app and service. We do not store any passwords. We use passkeys exclusively for its superior security.

2.2 Information You Choose to Give Us.

2.3 Information Automatically Collected by Using the P-Teams App and Service.

For each device you install the P-Teams app, a device identifier will be collected, as supplied by the device platform and is unique to our app. We keep this information as long as your account is active. We also store your IP addresses in our diagnostic logs, which we keep for one year.

2.4 No Personal Information is Collected from Third Parties.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Your profile picture and member names are displayed next to your comments or questions when you participate in discussions at that school. Only members of that school can see your posts.

Your profile picture and member names are also visible to administrators of the school and the clubs you join.

Your account recovery email is only used for account recovery.

4. DATA PROCESSING AND RETENTION

Our servers can store your comments and questions and keep them for up to one year. All posts will be deleted from our servers each year before new school year starts. Though they may still be stored on other members’ devices.

When you delete your account, all personal information will be deleted from our servers, except diagnostic logs. Your posts are not deleted automatically. However, you can delete your own posts at any time.

Diagnostic logs on our servers can be stored for one year.

We do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties. However, operational data will be shared with platform providers to facilitate push notifications.

5. SECURITY

We protect your personal information from unauthorized access using industry standard cryptography and encryption protocols.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with applicable laws. When we do so, we will post the revised Privacy Policy here. We will also ask you to review the revised Privacy Policy the next time you use the P-Teams app.
